Anna D'Angelo

Anna (Ierovante) D’Angelo, age 93, of Sharpsburg, PA, passed away peacefully on December 29, 2023 surrounded by family. Anna was born on November 4, 1930 to the late Salvatore and Maria Ierovante. She was the loving wife of the late Vincent D’Angelo and beloved mother of the late Rocco J. D’Angelo, Sr. (Kim), Linda Hilinski (Mike) and Anita D’Angelo; loving grandmother of Rocco J. D’Angelo, Jr. (Marlene) and Marissa Hilinski and sweet great grandma (GGD) of Vincenzo D’Angelo. Anna was a beloved sister of the late Rose Williams (the late Russell), Armenia Ierovante, the late Domenic Ierovante (the late Dolores), and Josephine Caldone (John) and special aunt to many loving nieces and nephews. Anna was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who cherished her family. She was a devout Catholic and a life-long member of Madonna of Jerusalem Church (Sharpsburg, PA) of Christ the King Parish. She will be dearly missed by all who loved her. Friends will be received at the Slater Funeral & Cremation Service, Inc. Sharpsburg (412-782-2211) 820 Main Street, Sharpsburg, PA on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at 10 AM at Christ The King Parish in Madonna of Jerusalem Church, 220 Ninth Street, Sharpsburg, PA. Interment will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the charity of your choice.
