Anna Marie Scinico

On Monday, September 12, 2022, age 90, of Sharpsburg. Beloved wife of the late Carmen R. Scinico. Loving mother of Mark Scinico, MD (Cindy), Charles Scinico (Judy), Michelle Wilhere (Thomas), and the late Michael Scinico. Nunnie to Melanie (Joseph), Carmen (Jennifer), Maria, Nathan, Marlo, Charlotte, and the late Lindsay. Great Nunnie to Jacob, Mason, and Emmett Bersuder, and Mason Scinico and Owen Lang. Sister of Jacqueline Lugara (John) and the late Anthony Magnelli. Sister-in-law of Karen Scinico. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents Giacomino and Teresa Perrone-Fair Magnelli. Anna Marie was a waitress for many years at Bluemling's Cafe and at Montemurro's Restaurant; and was former president of Sharpsburg AARP and former officer & member of Sharpsburg Guyasuta Committee. She was a member of the Greatest Generation; and was the family matriarch. She loved all of her family and friends unconditionally. Special thanks to Dr. Daniel Monahan and to Family Hospice- specifically Mary Jo and Lorraine- for their care and compassion. Friends received Thursday 2-4 & 6-8 pm, WORRELL FUNERAL HOME, INC., Sharpsburg (412-782-2211). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Christ The King Parish in St. Mary Church on Friday at 10:30 am.
