Charles W. Egler

 Charles W. Egler, age 94, of West View, passed away on Friday, July 26, 2024. Beloved husband of the late Alice Egler. Loving father of Ken (Kathy) Egler, Tom (Barb) Egler and Cindy (Dan) Maybee. Also survived by 7 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. Charles served in the U S Army during the Korean War. He retired from the U S Postal Service and loved traveling with his wife Alice. He was a member of the North Hills Lodge No. 716, F. & A.M., Scottish Rite, and the Shriners for 55 years. Family and friends welcome Thursday 10:00 am - 1:00 pm at Slater Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. Sharpsburg 820 Main St. Sharpsburg, PA 15215 where a service will be held Thursday at 1:00 pm. Burial to follow in Allegheny County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
