Clifford L. Hess

Clifford L. Hess, age 79, of Sharpsburg, PA, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2024 surrounded by family. Beloved husband of Diane (Cozza) Hess. Proud father of Clifford (Carla), MaryAnn, Michele, Christine (Gabe), Lisa, Robert (Carrie), and Christopher. Brother-in-law of Charlotte (James) Reddinger, the late Gloria and Frank Schneider, and Marie Cozza. Grandfather of 24 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and loved by many nieces and nephews. He was involved in the Special Police of Sharpsburg, worked as a nurse in the VA Health System, and was an active member of the Sharpsburg Family Worship Center. He loved his family, fishing, socializing, and telling stories. When he was able he enjoyed many community activities, listening to music, and reading the bible. A memorial service will be held at 11am on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at the Sharpsburg Family Worship Center, located at 600 Clay Street, Sharpsburg, PA 15215.
