David A. Pavlick

Of Shaler Twp., 67, passed away on November 11.  A lifelong Pittsburgher, Dave was born on February 21, 1956 to the late James, Sr. and Millie (Thiel) Pavlick.  Dave was deeply adored by his sister and brothers: James (Carole), Gail (Gary) Weismann, Gary (Lori), and Steven (Denise).  His lightheartedness shined particularly bright as “Uncle Dave” to Holly (Fiancé Jayson), Jennifer (Doug) Cordeiro, Lindsay Weismann, Lisa (Jon) Szuchy, Stephanie (Ross) Dudgeon, Stacey Weismann, Mandee (Erik) Rusin, Chelsey (Kevin) Kennedy, Dan (Brianna), Madison, and Marlea. He was cherished as Godfather to Lisa and Marlea, and took the bestowed honor seriously.  Never ever missing an opportunity to make someone laugh, Dave may be most remembered for his grand sense of humor.  Dave took great pride in his work at Schindler Elevator Corporation, having retired in 2018.  His tender heart will be profoundly missed. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM at Christ The King Parish in St. Mary Church, Sharpsburg, on Wednesday, November 15.  There is no visitation, everybody please meet at church. Arrangements by Slater Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc.
