Dennis Joseph Iurlano

On December 27, 2023, Dennis Joseph Iurlano, age 73, passed into the arms of our Lord. Dennis is survived by his wife of 47 years, Roberta; daughter Elaine Shaffer (Clayton); sister Judi Dietz (Jeff); and nephews Brad, Derrin, and Collin Dietz. He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Mary (Tomko) Iurlano. A 1968 graduate of Fox Chapel High School, Dennis attended Point Park University where he majored in accounting. Dennis loved spending time with his family and friends. His hobbies also included playing 500 bid, classic cars, listening to oldies music (especially The Drifters), and enjoying good food. Friends received 2-4 & 6-8pm Friday, December 29, in Slater Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. Sharpsburg, (412-782-2211) 820 Main St., Sharpsburg, PA 15211. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Christ The King Parish in St. Joseph Church on Saturday at 10am. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations to United Cerebral Palsy.
