Esther I Popovich (Morrissey)

Age 83, On Sunday October 20, 2024 of Shaler formerly of the South Side. Born in Waukegan, Illinois. Passed away with her beloved family and loyal cat Bella by her side.

Loving wife of the late Eugene W Popovich, Mother of Helen L (Michael) Aluise, John E (Kim) Popovich, Nancy L Popovich. Proud Grammie to Matthew and Gina Aluise, Scott (Holly), Blake (Alexa), John Evan (Dana), Lindsay Popovich, and Great Grammie to Gianna and Penelope (Penny) Popovich.

Sister to Beverly( Kenneth) Richardson, Helen Morrissey, Jo Ann Prebish, George Morrissey, and of the late Francis, Thomas (Betty) and Richard Morrissey, and many nieces and nephews.

Esther lived her entire life for her family. Always willing to put them before herself. She was a great listener, an avid reader, loved her baseball and had a green thumb. She will be sorely missed and will live on in our hearts forever. 

Friends received Thursday, October 24, 2024, from 2-4 & 6-8pm at Slater Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. Sharpsburg. A Blessing Service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, October 25, 2024, at 11am.
