Frank Montemurro

Age 90, of Blawnox, on Tuesday, March 9, 2021. Loving husband of the late
Loretta J. Montemurro; beloved father of Dr. Judith Montemurro (Michael
Cynkar) and Francis J. Montemurro (Heidi); grandfather of Laura, Danielle,
Matthew, Marisa, Ashley and Olivia; son of the late Frank and Vienna
(Carricato) Montemurro; and sibling to Jenny Veshio, Rose Monaco and the
late Joseph L. Montemurro. Frank was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and
spent his career working two jobs: by day, matching printing inks for Sinclair
& Valentine/Flint Ink and part-time evenings/weekends as a bartender at
Churchill Valley Country Club. Frank loved his family and cherished his six
grandchildren. He enjoyed relaxing lunches with friends, reminiscing about
growing up in Sharpsburg, and watching Pittsburgh sports.
Friends received Friday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at WORRELL FUNERAL HOME, INC.,
820 Main St., Sharpsburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at
St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish in St. Edward Church, Blawnox.
