On March 14, 2022 Hilda Frances Ferraro, 95 peacefully passed.
She was born in Sharpsburg, PA to Gaetana and Attilio Angelini. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Donald (Chief) Ferraro; brothers: Domenic (Rose), Nicholas (Lucia) and baby brother, Anthony; also by her sisters: Sister Francis Romana CDP, Sister Louise Angelini CDP , Antoinette Angelini, Lucy (Carmen) Cavezza, Theresa (Frank) Casper and Mary Frances Angelini. Sister-In-Law of Caroline (Philip) Peluso, Charles "Buddy" (Delores "Dee") Ferraro, Delores "Dee" (Jimmy) Dennis. She is survived by her brother, Anthony (Marion) Angelini and brother in-law Anthony "Bucky" and Judy Ferraro. She was blessed with seven children and their spouses. Thomas (Carol), Donald (Mary Christine), Anthony (Kathy), Michael (Mitchell), Joseph (Ellen), Donna Marie (Joe) and John (Charles). And blessed with 8 grandchildren: NANA to Gina (Kevin), Jeff (Melissa), Antoinette (Johnathan), Courtney (Dave), Tracy (Christian), Mallory (Andrew), Tony (Hillary) and Michael (Kristiana). 14 great grandchildren: Megan, Delaney, Andrew, Lauren, Thomas, Hayley, Isabella, Ava, Giavanna, Ellie, Hunter, Lena, Gavin and Vera. Known as Aunt Honey, she was loved and gave love to numerous nieces and nephews. She had many dear friends that she enjoyed playing cards, dominos, bingo and bocce with. She extended love to strangers that became new friends. Hilda had an impeccable way of bringing people together and making everyone feel loved. As a devoted Catholic who loved the Lord; watching mass, prayer and the rosary was the center of her day. Hilda felt most at home and was her best around the table with her children and family. We are certain the Good Lord has her preparing that same table for when we are all together again in heaven. Friends will be received Wednesday, March 16 from 5pm-9pm and Thursday, March 17 from 1pm-9pm at Worrell Funeral Home, Inc., 820 Main Street, Sharpsburg PA, 15215. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 18 at 10am at Christ The King Parish in St. Mary Church, Sharpsburg. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Hilda Ferraro's name may be made to The Sisters of Divine Providence, 9000 Babcock Boulevard, Allison Park, PA 15101. www.cdpsisters.org
