James E. Meinert

On Thursday, April 28, 2022, age 86, of Sharpsburg. Former husband of Begonia Arauzo Maestro. Father of Cristina Meinert Arauzo, Sylvia Meinert Evans, Paul Meinert Arauzo, and Eduardo Meinert Arauzo. Grandfather of Marie-Noelle, Christian, Matthew, Alvaro, Jaime, Ainoha, Andrea, and Maria. Brother of Madalene (the late Francis), Judy (Nora), and the late Sr. Sara Jean, Norman (the late Eileen), and Michael. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. James was a retired Warrant Officer with the US Army and US Air Force for over 30 years and retired with two Bronze Stars. Friends received Monday 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Worrell Funeral Home, Inc., Sharpsburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Christ The King Parish in St. Mary Church on Tuesday at 10 am. Interment will be private
