Joan I. Hulbert

On Thursday, September 29, 2022, age 88, of O'Hara Township, formerly of Etna and Sharpsburg, peacefully passed away with her two best friends Starz & Butch by her side. Daughter of the late Michael and Jean (Goralski) Hoza. Beloved wife of the late Joseph H. Hulbert. Loving mother of the late Paul (Micky) Lanzino and Craig Lanzino. Stepmother of the late Timothy (Tina) Hulbert; Survived by son Mark Lanzino; granddaughters Tara (Richard Smith) Lanzino, Lorelei Palumbo and Cheyenne (Bryan) Mossgrove; and great-grandchildren Ava, Khloe, Nora, and Lincoln. Joan had such a zest for life. She saw the good in everyone around her and loved connecting with people. She was a talented beautician for many years, making the world a more beautiful place one person at a time. Joan loved her animals and was a long time supporter of Animal Friends and the Humane Society of Pittsburgh. She leaves behind many adoring friends and loved ones who will miss her immensely. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, WORRELL FUNERAL HOME, INC., Sharpsburg, Pittsburgh, PA 15215 (412-782-2211). A Blessing Service will be held at 3:45 pm in the funeral home.
