John Eric Drexler

John Eric Drexler, age 54, of Pittsburgh, PA, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 14, 2021. John was born in Pittsburgh on February 22, 1967 to Charles and Rita Drexler. John was a loving father, son, brother, uncle, grandfather, and friend. He had love for animals and working on cars. John was a former employee of Megabus and First Student Fox Chapel. He was a volunteer firefighter for Pleasant Valley Volunteer Company Station 217. John is survived by his daughter Amandalynn Drexler, her husband, Blake Thompson, and their children: Blake and Colton; his mother, Rita Drexler Schultz; his brothers: Charles Drexler, Jr., Edward Drexler, Glenn Drexler, his wife, Rhonda, and their son, Glenn Jr.; his sister Simmynora Drexler-Samberson, her husband, Michael Samberson, and their children: Christian, Christopher, Brayden, and Jan. He was predeceased by his father, Charles J. Drexler, Sr. John will be missed by all and forever in our hearts. Memorial Service will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in John's memory to the Hillman Cancer Center.
