John V. Sundo II

John V. Sundo II, born on November 19, 1951, to the late Helen (Dembowski) Sundo and John Sundo, peacefully passed away on January 10, 2024. He is survived by his brother Mark and sister Susan (Sundo) Romea. John was a loving father to John A. Sundo and Zachary, and a proud grandfather to John A. Sundo, Jr. and Nico Sundo. He leaves behind many nephews and relatives who will cherish his memory.
John was not only a dedicated family man but also an accomplished musician. He contributed his musical talents to various bands- including "The Marcels", "Let's Be Frank", "Sterling", and "City Limits". His passion for music enriched the lives of those around him.
In addition to his musical pursuits, John found success as a general contractor and businessman. John also volunteered at homeless shelters and as a Ski Patrol.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects on Sunday, January 14, 2024 from 2-4 and 6-8pm in Slater Funeral & Cremation Service, Inc. Sharpsburg (412-782-2211) 820 Main Street, Sharpsburg, PA 15215. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, January 15, 2024 at Christ The King Parish in Madonna of Jerusalem Church at 10am.
John V. Sundo II will be remembered for his love, talent, generosity, and contributions to both the musical and local communities. May he rest in peace.
