Josephine "Pina" Clark

May 19, 1939 — April 7, 2025

On April 7, 2025, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. Born on May 19, 1939 in Gallo, Amantea, Italy, to Filomena and Antonio Posa, Pina came to the United States in 1960 as a teenager, following her parents in pursuit of a better life. With strength, independence, and a heart full of love, she built a life grounded in family, tradition, and hard work. Pina was the devoted wife of the deceased Dennis Clark. She is survived by her loving daughters, Lorena Pietrone (husband Mike Pietrone) and Silvana Panza-Conroy, and by her cherished granddaughter, Elizabeth Conroy, who was her pride and joy and the light of her life. She is also survived by her siblings: John (Emma) Posa, Salvatore (Mary) Posa, Ernesto Posa, Franca (Italo) Sciullo, and Rita (Carlo) Lista. She was predeceased by her siblings Filippo (Felicia) Posa, Anna (Guerino) Caputo, Michele (Francesca) Posa, and Emilio (Catherine) Posa. Pina leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews, each of whom held a special place in her heart. A talented and trained tailor, Pina used her craft to build a legacy of independence and entrepreneurship. She owned and operated several businesses over the years, with her last and most beloved venture being Michelangelo's Tailoring and Tuxedos, where she poured her heart, skill, and passion into every stitch. Pina will be remembered for her incredible cooking, her outgoing personality, love of hosting large family gatherings, and her ability to make everyone feel welcomed and loved. Her home was a place of comfort, laughter, and celebration. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her strength, warmth, generosity, and the beautiful life she created for her family. A special thanks to the staff at The Willows at Presbyterian Senior Care & Commonwealth Hospice for their care and comfort during this difficult time. Friends received Wednesday, 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Slater Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. Sharpsburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at Christ The King Parish in Madonna of Jerusalem Church at 10:30 am.
