Joy Herstek

Joy Herstek, a lifelong resident of Sharpsburg, Pennsylvania, passed away on April 19, 2026, at the age of 71.

She was a devoted mother to Paul (Rachel), Greg (Elyse), and Daniel (Katie), and a loving grandmother to Veda and Silas. She is also survived by her siblings, Joan Seibert, Janet Schultz, Tony Karpinski, and Joseph Karpinski. She was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Stella Karpinski.

Joy will be remembered for her kindness and her deep love for her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Friends received Friday, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, at Slater Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. Sharpsburg.
