Melvin Kohnen

Age 68, of Etna, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 16, 2020. Son of LaVerne Kohnen. Father to Beth Kohnen-Greaves (Gil) and Brian Kohnen (Suzy). Grandfather to Amanda, Nicholas, and Evan. Brother to Mark (Diane), Matt (Nadine), Marshall (Betty), and the late Mick (surviving Judy), and Maureen (the late John). Also survived by nieces, nephews, and his beloved second family at Corcoran Sheet Metal & Fabrication; and especially his close friends beyond the workplace, Kevin, Anna, & Pat. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the family has decided to forego a public visitation. Donations can be made to the American Heart Association. Arrangements have been entrusted to Worrell Funeral Home, Inc., Sharpsburg.
