Philip L. "Chip" LaCava

On Saturday, January 6, 2024, age 98, of Tampa, Florida, formerly of Sharpsburg. Preceded in death by his wife Dorothy LaCava, his son Chip LaCava, Jr.,  and a grandson. He is survived by his daughter Noreen Groce (Bill), his daughter-in-law Gennie Walker, 6 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren,1 great-great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews. Friends received Wednesday 2-8pm at Slater Funeral & Cremation Service, Inc. Sharpsburg. Burial will take place at Mount Royal Cemetery on Thursday at 11am.
