Raymond J. Borowski, Sr.

On Thursday, May 27, 2021, age 87. Beloved husband of the late Rosella (Susi) Borowski. Loving father of Curtis Borowski (Sheila), Karen Borowski, Raymond Borowski, Jr. (Leslie Ferrari), and Bridget Virbitsky (Ed). Grandfather of Alexis Pape (Justin), Rachel Borowski, Ella Virbitsky, Zack Virbitsky, and Ava Virbitsky. Brother of Maryanne Novak, Dennis Borowski (Jane), Bernice McCready, and the late Helen Dembowski, Frank Borowski, Cecilia Urso, Charles Borowski, Joseph Borowski, Theresa Lentz, Leonard Borowski (the surviving Lila), and Louis Borowski (the surviving Arlene). Raymond was a Korean War veteran. He was also a postal carrier for 30 years, 20 of which he delivered in his hometown of Sharpsburg. Friends received Tuesday 2-4 & 6-9 pm at Worrell Funeral Home, Inc., Sharpsburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Juan Diego Parish in Madonna of Jerusalem Church on Wednesday at 10:30 am.
