Thomas J. Goral, Jr.

Thomas J. Goral Jr. passed away in the arms of our Lord on August 9th, 2023. Born May 22nd, 1940, he was the son of Thomas and Regina Goral. Tom was the beloved husband of Kathy (Kitty) Goral. 

He is also survived by his children; Donna Johnston and Thomas (Debbie) Goral, his loving grandchildren; Matthew, Christopher, and Melissa (TJ), as well as two great grandchildren; Austin, and Grayson. Tom is also survived by three siblings; Eugene, Kenneth, and Rose Marie Hagmaier.

Tom was a graduate of Duquesne University and was an Army Veteran. He spent 30 years working with IBM. He was also a member of St. Mary’s Church in Glenshaw where he spent time as a lector, eucharistic minister, and as member of the RCIA and worship commission. Tom belonged to AARP, and enjoyed sports, bowling, and traveling. 

Tom’s dedication, love, and service to his family, friends, country, and the Lord will be a legacy to all who knew him.

Friends received Sunday 2-4 & 6-8pm in Slater Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. Sharpsburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary of the Assumption Church on Monday at 10:30 AM.
