Virgina "Jean" M. Stampahar

Age 94, of O'Hara Township, passed away peacefully on April 7, 2021. Beloved wife of the late William "Bill" Stampahar. Loving mother of Jeanette Stampahar, William "Keith" Stampahar (Ninajo), Cynthia Wukits (Paul), Robert Stampahar (Wendy) and Margaret Stampahar. Grandmother of Allison Cornish (Sam) and Matthew Stampahar, step grandmother of Darin Wukits and Paula Bickel; also 5 step great grandchildren and one step great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her brothers Richard Hohman, William Hohman, Ralph Hohman and Henry "Pete" Hohman. She is survived by sisters-in-law Lois Hohman and Carol Hohman and many nieces and nephews. Jean was a devout Catholic who loved family and large family gatherings. For many years she was a member of both St. Mary Sharpsburg church choir and the Fox Chapel Chapter of the Sweet Adelines. She also enjoyed playing cards and traveling. Friends received Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Worrell Funeral Home, Inc., Sharpsburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Juan Diego Parish in St. Mary Church, Sharpsburg, on Monday at 10:30 am.
